After following Cintia Salazar Juarez and blogging about her work for a couple of years, in July of 2018 I visited and volunteered with the devoted rescuer of animals in Merlo, Buenos Aires.  In addition to joining rescues, I assisted in daily chores such as cleaning kennels, feeding dogs, rearranging shelter infrastructure, even feeding the rescue pig. 

 

After my ten day adventure, I continue to highlight Cintia's efforts and the efforts of other organizations through my Stray Blog.
